Vintage National Guard jacket. The National Guard retired the olive-green uniforms in October of 2015. On the left collar is a signal corps button, right collar has a U.S. button. On both shoulders there are US Army 249th Infantry Regiment Unit crest pins. On the left arm there is an Oregon National Guard Headquarters patch in the old design. On the left side of the chest there are multiple ribbons and rewards. The tan and blue one is the Armed Forces Reserve Ribbon, granted to a person for serving 10 years in a Reserve or National Guard in the United States. There is a single Oak Leaf Cluster pin on the Armed Forces Reserve Ribbon. The blue and orange ribbon is the Oregon National Guard Faithful Service Ribbon, may have been awarded for either time served or mobilization. The gold, red, white and blue ribbon is the National Guard Achievement Ribbon. Below the ribbons are two marksman badges. One being a Sharpshooter badge with a rifle qualification bar. The other badge is an Expert badge with a bayonet bar, which appears to be a vintage badge. Jacket is in very good condition, so are ribbons and badges. Some overall wear, one small hole on right sleeve, and one button has some green tarnish, see photos. Jacket is dusty from storage, could use a cleaning.
