Vintage Large Petit Point Red Coral Sterling Silver Earrings Signature 21g

Stunning deep red coral earrings in a petit point cluster setting. The top stud is a traditional flower cluster with a large teardrop of 18 cabochons dangling from it. Interior of the curve is lined with exquisitely crafted silver ropes and the outer edge is lined with raindrops. Each is signed on the back with "LF." Based on the style we believe them to be Zuni, and that they date from the 1960s-1970s based on the scratches in the coral and the beautiful patina. They measure 2 15/16th inches long, though they dangle a little shorter due to the post being in the center of the stud, which measures 15/16th of an inch across. The teardrop measures 1 13/16th inches by 1 1/8th inch. 21 gram total weight.
